19 Months OldPosted: October 17, 2010
I’m late AGAIN 😦 Reuben was 19 months old on Wednesday and he’s officially on his way to 2 years old. I can’t believe it! Reuben is getting taller and smarter by the minute. He is understanding and following more and more basic commands. We’re starting to pick up on several more words that he is using on a regular basis. Reuben has become quite observant and wants to know what everything is and appreciates an explanation of what’s going on around him. I love explaining something to Reuben and having him respond by nodding his head and saying, “Ohhh.” Reuben LOVES to talk on the phone. He’ll put the phone between his ear and shoulder and pace around carrying on a conversation with whoever will listen. I’m so thankful for the beautiful weather lately that has allowed us to spend much more time outside. Reuben is pretty adventurous and loves to explore new things in the backyard, at the park, or on the playground. Reuben is a Daddy’s boy through and through. When Daddy enters the room, everyone and everything ceases to exist. Quality time with Daddy is a valued treasure around our house.
Some serious slobber going on while munching on some juicy grapes.
Helping Mommy with the laundry.
Uncle Chris quickly became Reuben’s hero when he let him play the drums at church.
Playing and singing with Daddy.
On a family walk to the neighborhood playground.
Climbing the steps…
…and ready to slide!
Getting pushed on the swing by Daddy = a fully content heart for Reuben
Hanging out with Mr. Hideaway Pizza man.
I took this video on my phone and didn’t realize that I was holding it the wrong way. You’ll have to turn your head to the side to watch 😉 Reuben LOVED cheering on the Broken Arrow Tigers at the Homecoming game.
