Friday Night with the Boys

On Friday night, we invited Troyer and Diego over so their mommies and daddies could go out on a date.  We had such a great time!  Troyer and Diego are both about 1.5 years older than Reuben so they serve as very good role models for him.  I know as they grow up together, T & D will always have Reuben’s back🙂  We are very thankful for great friends and quality time to spend with them!

*Some of my favorite memories from the night:

1.  Reuben had a big fall on the back porch.  T & D came over to Reuben, laid hands on him, and joined with us in praying for Reuben to feel all better.  This was such a sweet moment!

2.  We had Chick-fil-a for dinner and Nick had gotten a salad.  When he opened it up, Diego said, “Wow!  There are lots of flavors in there!”

3.  We took a walk to the park to play for awhile.  It wasn’t too long before the boys decided to strip down to their underwear and run around in the water at the splash pad.  It was hilarious!

4.  On the way home from the park, Troyer asked for ice cream.  I told him that we would take a bubble bath when we got home and then we’d see about ice cream.  Well, as soon as Troyer was done with his bath and got his jammies on, he ran into the kitchen and found some ice cream in the freezer.  He brought it to me, screaming all the way, “Amy!  Ice cream!  Amy!  Ice cream!”

Nick provided some entertainment for the boys while I was getting everyone’s dinner ready.  The boys were CRACKING UP.

The boys were THRILLED about me taking a picture during dinner.

On our way to the park🙂

We ended our night with popcorn, juice, and “Cars.”

Reuben loved the popcorn!

Hanging out in the tent one last time before Diego had to go home.
