Introducing Reuben Mac Agimudie

Reuben Mac Agimudie was born Friday, March 13th at 10:09 a.m.  He was 6 lbs and 6 oz and 19 inches long.  Shortly after Reuben was born, he was transferred to the NICU and was diagnosed with transient tachypnea.  This was largely due to him being a few weeks premature and having a very fast delivery.  Reuben spent 10 days in the NICU and got to go home on Monday, March 23rd.  We are grateful that God had a hand in his care while at St. Francis.  In the newborn nursery, Reuben had our friend from college, Jenny, as his nurse.  Once he was transferred to the NICU, Reuben had  a very special guardian angel looking after him…Joleen, our dear friend from Destiny.  Words could never express our gratitude to the staff in the NICU at St. Francis.  All of the doctors and nurses were AMAZING at setting our minds at ease and making our time in the NICU as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  Thank you, also, to our friends and family for your support, prayers, and encouragement during the first 10 days of Reuben’s life.  We are SO happy to be home and eager to start our lives as a new, little family.  Here are some of our favorite pics:

I love the one when Jenny is giving him a bath and his face when you’re feeding him a bottle! Those are awesome…thank you for sharing. I’ve been busy with a sick baby again. Eli has an ear infection so we’re having lots of fun with that 😉 I thought it was good to let you guys settle in for awhile and get into a routine a little bit before I came to visit too. Let me know what a good time is – evenings and weekends are good b/c I could leave the kids with Will. Talk to you soon!
